You Got the Wrong Movie!
February 13th 2009 11:31
If you want to make your man happy for Valentine’s Day and turn his favourite movie into a real life scene, you had better first get the movie right. That’s what Lesley Heague, a 25 year old woman from the UK, found out after a lot of expense.
Heague spent $1,200 for the surprise including an expensive penthouse suite where she could recreate the famous rose petal scene from American Beauty, hired a photographer so she could have a personal card made for the occasion and bought all the petals.
The romantic gesture didn’t go to plan when Heague realised her boyfriend had never even seen the movie.
The whole confusion arose after Heague had asked her 21 year old boyfriend Luke Scrase what his favourite movie was. The answer ….American Gangster.
Unfortunately, she had misheard him.

And agreed, whether he'd seen it or not you'd think he'd have enjoyed the surprise none the less. He'd better have, considering how much it cost her.

The effort alone she had gone to should have been a turn on for him....or so you would think.
Thanks for the comment.

The photo was meant to be for a card she would give him as a keepsake.

You would certainly think so. In fact, if he hadn't seen it before you'd think he would have thought the whole episode quite a creative one!
Thanks for the visit.
