Keeping up with Your Kids' Text Language
May 28th 2009 08:40
I don’t think anyone of us is alone when it comes to being confused over text messages, particularly those sent by teens and young adults. If you've ever wanted to decode these message but just couldn't, a new online translation tool is now here to help you.
LG Electronics have just launched a site that translates the text for you. The site is called DTXTR and is bound to be a favourite for all those who want to keep up with all this text-speak. I’ve already put it into my favourites list.
All you need to do is type in a text “word” and the translation comes up on the screen. A glossary of hundreds of definitions for text phrases, abbreviations and symbols is on the site.
The website is lgdtxtr.com and you can take a look at it here.

What a great promotion! Get on to this and you will see all of LGs latest products.
I am surprised no-one else has come up with this earlier.

Finally a moment to catch up and perhaps if I could speak text talk save some time too *lol*
This is good news as an older person I am getting left behind on many of the abbreviations my teenagers come up with and they are not always about to ask either, although they find my grappling with this *language* so amusing!
Thanks for adding the link, wonderful stuff!
