Obama the Musical
January 15th 2010 05:07
First there was Keating the Musical and now even while he is still in office, President Obama will have his own one too. In Germany this coming weekend, the musical Hope: The Obama Musical Story will open and producers are expecting a good crowd.
The production has been put together by US writer and composer Randall Hutchins and focuses mainly on the election campaign in 2008 aiming to capture the exciting atmosphere at the time.
There’s all the usual suspects in there including John McCain and Sarah Palin doing their own numbers in the show and a gospel chorus will follow Barack and Michelle Obama belting out Yes We Can.
Germany was chosen for the production because Obama is still really popular there and the producers are hoping to take the production to America soon.
Sounds like it will be a pretty good show.

Yes, I agree. It is rather funny, particularly that it is starting off in Germany
Sounds like fun though. Maybe they will bring it here!
Thanks for dropping in.
