Buy, Sell, Trade - Yes, Timmy, you're a broker, now!

Forex market turnover it's a massive industry.

Forget what you know about money, because life - finally - is back to the basics and the business savvy are raking it in. Welcome to FOREX - planet Earth's foreign exchange market.

When E-Gold first began their venture in 1996 - a system of currency backed entirely by gold bullions in Treasury vaults - entrepreneurs and business mogels screamed 'opportunity'. Why? Because having a universal currency meant easy trading.

Combine that with long-established (1971) forex, and you can leave the brokers and banks at home, and fund your very own e-currency trading account. That's right, you can play the market within minutes of reading this very article. The idea is to buy and sell currencies, and - based on the exchange rate - you can make a healthy profit. The game has changed.

It's hard to believe that our ancestors once carried around little hempen satchels of gold and silver pieces. It was a system so beautifully simple for the absence of wallets and the nine varying forms of currency (i.e. 5 kinds of notes, 4 types of coin).

So what's changed? We still have the notes and the coins and no wallet can ever organise any currency conveniently! But that's the money of what is now, a decaying reality. With the inception of eBay, Shopping.Com and the like, do you really need money?

Well, yes, you do. Christmas shopping just isn't exciting online and there's no fun buying something new if you can't rip it out of the box when you get it home. But now there's a living, breathing online community that all but captures the ambience of shopping-strip convenience. And with forex and affiliate marketing, you can make your living and spend it too - all from the comfort of home, office, train or car.

t is such a dynamic, ever-changing world and we've come so very far. And yet, strangely, the horizon never looked so ominous...

Don't you know that what you are involved in is totally out of control speculation. It's all a vicious game, and you're a little insane. ....And you're not gonna be a Rock n' Roll star either.

hehe. I'd love to guarantee your $10,000. Visit Mazu.Com. He'll tell you a great little scheme. Sadly, he doesn't trust e-currency exchange and neither do I. But I love the concept. The notion of limitless wealth is certainly alluring!

Yes, Howard, it is out of control. I think there's some great opportunity out there, though, and if you don't take risks then, unfortunately, you're going to be stuck at Coles for next few decades. I loved the sly allusion to Patti Smith, though.

Thanks for posting !!

Thanks, Cibby !! I try to get a bit of everything in the Critic. I would like to do a film-only thing, but I don't know enough. I love the way you've set yours out. It's really informative and interesting.

Hey Anthony,

How long have you been in the forex?

Benjamin,

Oh, I'm gutless. I can't trade forex. You need to be at a point where you can feel confident enough to trade and have the funds available. I'm getting there though. I just like learning about new business opportunities and I thought this one was fantastic. Do you trade currencies?

Anthony,

No, I don't trade currencies because it's not an area I am looking at the moment. But I do have something, vaguely, in mind about creating a type of currency hedging mechanism. Trading currencies can be fantastic if everything turns out good but please remember the NAB forex scandal, if you are ready to dive into it.

Always good to take it slow than having it wrong.

Cheers and Happy New Year!

You are absolutely right. In fact, I totally forget about the NAB. Hehe. That was huge news too.
I always find it better to be safe than sorry. Plus, I'm a wuss. But anyway..

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!
