Karma Karma Karma Karma.... Karma Chameleon?
January 24th 2007 12:15
Boy George was right. Although reports say he is cleaning the streets of New York (citation needed), there seems to be truth in his all-time classic "Karma Chameleon". The first man to dress funky and turn it to profit. A reliable source.
Written by Boy George, performed by Culture Club (his band), the cross-dressing drug addict sang some telling lines:
"Karma Karma Karma (fast forward a few seconds)
... You come and go-oh-ooohh ! You coome and go "
Absolutely.
Mr. George - do you run Orble? How on earth do you make your Karma stay ? It seems futile - you can post, comment, vote and yarn all you like and still drop from a perfect 10 to a 9. Maybe Culture Club can tell us a bit more.. come on, George...
" When we cling our love is strong // When you go you're gone forever // You string along
// You string along "
What is this ?!?! Did you do this Orble ?! DID YOU DO THIS ?! It's like listening to the audiobook of Orble's Paid Writing Guide - bestowed on, and never read by, young, aspiring bloggers ! Wait.. wait.. WAIT !! I think there's more...
Im a man without conviction
Im a man who doesnt know
How to sell a contradication
Could.. could it... could this be the key to successfull blogging ?! I think he's trying to tell me.. to warn?.. no.. no.... he wants.... DAMMIT ! I lost him... Where the hell is that woman off Medium when you need her ?

Either this is coincidence or I've just been whipped.
I had posted this question, under this title, on the Writer's Forum earlier, out of curiosity...

Hmmm...as Alice would say...curiouser and curiouser.
Is this part of your social critique jurisdiction?

I don't know how I came up with this... I was in a massive rush to post something before a mate's BBQ and this song has been stuck in my head for days now.
Sorry, I had no idea you came up with it first. Full credit to you, it was a brilliant idea ! I'll have to check that post out.
Hehe, a lot of my post kind of transcend what my blog is meant to be. i don't even like current affairs, so I don't know why I decided to blog about it. But I suppose Social Critic is all in the interpretation..
Thanks Dusk, and sorry for inadvertently stealing your idea !

No this wasn't about
Ideas are free.
Like speech.
Supposedly.
Don't like Current Affairs huh?
...not what your words imply on David's MO site. Great tabloid journalism.
Have a social and hopefully non critical day.

I try keep up to date with the news, but it's soo boring. Just like politics. But I can't help feeling passionate about that sort of stuff. It's disgusting, but so alluring !
I'm a riddle wrapped in an engima on a website marked Social Critic.
Thanks for posting Devi !!
