Analyse This, Analyse That. Julie Bishop Has Gone MAD !!

Today, too, I had an experience that I hope I shall understand in a few days...

A few days later, I still don't understand. Why oh why do I have 3000 words to write over my Easter Break? Jorgen Leth can't help me now. No, I'd need to be the Perfect Human to work a near 20 hours, attend 3 parties, 1 comedy festival and polish off these assignments for Monday week.

But In between multiplying Height by Width to determine the total space allocated to Local News in Thursday's The Age, I stumbled upon Seven's Sunrise. Finally, people I know !! Would they have something interesting, perhaps even informative to nourish my defeated mind? No, but my fantasies are coming to realisation ! An old man wants to ban homework. How glorious, how noble. What a romantic notion we may lose ourselves (and our assignments) in.

Do you think Julie Bishop is aware? Or am I still dreamin'? Anyway, I had better return to the eternal struggle. At least I'll have two months for my final assignments....

Oh La Trobe;
I could be thorough, I could be organised, I could be everything moorree !!!
Why don't you like me? Why don't you like me?

Anthony, Busy, busy, busy, confusion, confusion, confusion,

Glad it's you and not me.

This is ridiculous! A post about nothing gets instant success, while a well thought out Christmas message is forced to endure public shaming.

Has everyone forgotten about Christmas?! Are you all too good for some festive cheer?! No one has time for intellect or inner depth, only a quick skim over a paragraph full of rhetorical questions and fabricated social links.

Has Orble gone mad? Yes. Three votes, that’s all it seems Christmas deserves – and all of them are me! Very disappointed.

Don’t be fooled by the guise of a madman.

I think ditching homework would be a good idea.

Oh the joys of being in school, that's why I tell my two nephews when they ask me questions that I don't have to go to school anymore, so I wouldn't know! lolol...and ahhhh the essays...gotta love them...4 million words by Monday? Of course I can do it! I have no life now do I?

Great post,

Take care,

Nick

Whenever I've been at school, tt the start of every semester I promised myself I would be organised, I would read the stuff I was supposed to, I would attend lectures and start my assignments well before they were due.

Those promises lasted about 2 days (if I was lucky). Oh the stress I would have saved myself if I'd stuck with them.

Keep going with those assignments!!!! I don't think there's any uni that actually likes anyone.....you're not alone! ; )

Great work!

Kylie

Hmm... Thanks guys...

Perhaps there's a documentary idea here. Banning homework.... The pros and pros of eliminating time-wasting exercises ( and some of the more useful ones, too )

Hope everyone is having a great life. I found out today that I'm not behind in my assignments, so that's some consolation.

Cheers everyone

Anthony

I know, I know. University is an investment and all that. Perhaps I'll become a jeweller... Then I can lavish you with diamonds and still never study !!

No, I love the work I'm doing, but it is a little tiresome on occasions. I won't be doing it much longer anyway. I'm taking time off to find myself and the rest of it.

Thanks for the comment Ashy!!

Hey Anthony the Jeweller/Magician,

don`t you think that we should all start school when we are about 21.... get everything out of our system before then so that we can concentrate and appreciate what we are learning.... learn to read and write for a few years and then specialise in something that interests us..... and then barter our information and skills to live off what we need... everyone would be happy and the world would be a better place..... I should wake up from my dream hey *grin*

be good

Ashy, Mrs M.

Well.. It's a long story... The short version is yes. Yes I did. The longer answer is... it took two (2) nights. Not a very long story. I'm sorry. I wanted to build suspense.

You know, I think you've hit the nail on the head, Ash. If we muck around and do our own thing for 20 years, we'll eventually WANT to learn. Someone should tell Julie Bishop !

Thanks guys. Sorry for the late reply.
