Chris Tarrant (at Collingwood)
Last month Collingwood turned the egg-timer as bids flew in trade week for the star-crossed forward. It could have been a positive change, but as the fates would have it, Collingwood slapped a 'fragile' sticker on the under-performer and sent him four hours west - a place lacking somewhat in nightlife and vibrance.
Well, we can't always be fortunate. After all, he was lucky to have been with the club for the four-year stint, considering his wavering motivating. But no sooner did he arrive in Perth and paint his skin a nausiating mix of purple, green and white than his English counterpart, Christopher John Tarrant - radio broadcaster, TV presenter - filed for divorce.
It was the last straw for the 60 year old when second wife Ingrid had him followed by an investigator. He was cheating on her for seven years.
18-year-old daughter, Samantha Tarrant was very cross, and told First magazine: "he excused his actions as 'what boys do'. How pathetic is that? What I really want to ask my dad is this: ‘Was it worth it?" She did, however, express that she will miss him over the seasonal break.
It hasn't been a good year, seemingly, for any Tarrants.
